Approach: I focused on expressive character work, especially in portraying Zera and her parents, to support the story’s emotional flow. Using a bright, colourful palette, the illustrations are designed to engage young readers while keeping the tone light, fun, and age-appropriate, with characters that reflect Singapore’s multicultural community.
