Jade was commissioned by Loykee Best Chicken Rice to create a unique coloring page for their marketing campaign. The objective was to transform a basic sketch idea, which included elements drawn by the client's children, into a professional, cohesive coloring page. Her role involved designing the complete layout, choosing typography, and illustrating all the elements to ensure everything was visually cohesive while preserving the charm of the original sketches.

Created for the Our Planet Week 2025 Campaign, this illustration captures the gentle, joyful feeling of floating on the wind. It shows a little girl suspended in the air, surrounded by swaying grass and glowing sunlight.

Every detail, from the flutter of her dress and hair to the movement of the leaves, was designed to evoke a soft, weightless moment. The piece serves as a beautiful reminder to viewers to slow down, breathe, and simply enjoy being present.

Inspired by the lush plant life of Asia, Jade imagined a world where goji trees drip with oversized berry juice, corpse flowers bloom with mystery, and Joey Palms stretch like leafy giants. At the center of it all, a curious little explorer looks on in wonder—a reminder that there is always magic to be found just a little further.

Following the success of her previous collaborations with PAP Community Foundation, Jade was invited to create nine sets of illustrations for their PCF Sparkle Care brand assets, including materials for social media and merchandise.

Working within the established brand color guidelines, Jade ensured visual consistency across all sets. She collaborated closely with the PCF team to accurately depict their facilities, equipment, and uniforms, maintaining both clarity and warmth in the visual style.

Following the success of her first collaboration with PCF Sparkletots by PAP Community Foundation in 2023, Jade was invited to create illustrations and design the board game Hatch – An Eggventure of Emotions for their educational program. The project focuses on introducing and teaching a wide range of emotions to young children. To bring this concept to life, Jade studied both facial expressions and body language to ensure the characters conveyed each emotion clearly and effectively across different scenarios.

Beyond illustration, Jade led the entire visual development of the game, overseeing layout design, packaging, and all game components. Due to the tight timeline, Jade collaborated with additional artists on the game cards while remaining hands-on in the process. She carefully revised, adjusted colors, and refined the contributed artworks to ensure visual consistency and maintain the overall quality of the final product.

Following the success of her first collaboration with PCF Sparkletots by PAP Community Foundation in 2023, Jade was invited to illustrate a children’s book for their educational program, this time with a tight one-month turnaround. Based on a concept developed by the client, the story follows a young character who begins his first day of school in grey tones, symbolizing uncertainty, and gradually gains color as he starts to feel welcomed and supported in the classroom.

The project called for vibrant illustrations aligned with PCF’s brand guidelines to maintain consistency with their visual identity. Working closely with the PCF team, Jade carefully depicted classroom settings based on reference photos to create a sense of familiarity for young readers. She also paid close attention to the character’s expressions, using subtle changes to build an emotional arc from beginning to end.

Jade was commissioned by PCF Sparkletots by PAP Community Foundation to create 20 sets of illustrations for their educational program and brand assets, including social media use. The project encompassed a broad range of themes, such as character designs of children, parents, and teachers, as well as professional uniforms, vehicles, fruits, animals, and landscapes, carefully tailored to support early childhood learning.

Working within PCF Sparkletots’ brand color guidelines, Jade ensured visual consistency across all sets. She collaborated closely with the PCF team to accurately depict each element for educational use, while keeping the illustrations simple, engaging, and age-appropriate. The final artworks have been featured across their Events, Open House merchandise, website, social media platforms, MRT Station and various educational materials.

Jade was commissioned by The Laughing Cow to illustrate a children’s book as part of their marketing campaign, featuring their beloved cheese characters—Dip, Cubee, and Trixie. The project called for a vibrant, colorful palette and clean-edged illustration style to stay consistent with the brand’s visual identity.

Jade had a wonderful time illustrating this fun and whimsical story. She was given the creative freedom to design a magical world for the characters to explore, allowing her imagination to flourish while staying grounded in the narrative.

With the characters simplified in form, Jade paid special attention to body language and facial expressions to convey the context of each scene and to give each character a distinct personality. She also closely studied The Laughing Cow’s product packaging to ensure her illustrated versions were instantly recognizable and true to the original design, while maintaining a cohesive color palette.

Jade was commissioned to illustrate Zera’s Sparkling Saving – The Quest for a Shiny Red Bicycle, a children’s book that introduces young readers to the concept of financial management. Set on the sunny island of Singapore, Jade brought the story to life with vibrant scenes featuring local landmarks, from neighborhood parks and toy shops to the iconic Gardens by the Bay. She ensured each backdrop felt familiar and culturally grounded, adding a strong sense of place.

Throughout the book, Jade focused on expressive character work, particularly in portraying Zera and her parents, to enhance the story’s emotional depth and pacing. Using a bright, colorful palette, the illustrations aim to captivate children’s attention while keeping the theme light, fun, and age-appropriate.

Jade was commissioned to illustrate a children’s book in the series Discover with Jade – Adventures in Canada. Although the collaboration concluded before the cover design stage, she completed a full set of character designs and story illustrations that reflect her creative direction and vision for the book. These works remain a meaningful part of her portfolio, showcasing her ability to craft engaging, story-driven visuals across a cohesive narrative.

Jade was commissioned by a client from the Philippines to illustrate a custom artwork for her daughter’s 1st birthday. At the client’s request, the theme was whimsical, featuring a mermaid character inspired by her daughter. Jade used a dreamy color palette, with deep blue as the main tone and accents of yellow and pink to create a gentle, magical atmosphere.

Jade was commissioned by a client from Singapore to illustrate a custom artwork for her daughter and children's bedding merchandise. The piece was inspired by the client’s prompt, “Let imagination run, because everything is possible.” Embracing that spirit, Jade allowed her creativity to flow freely throughout the process.

The artwork features a main character inspired by the client’s daughter, a little girl flying sky-high to touch the stars, symbolizing the limitless possibilities of imagination and the pursuit of dreams. She is lifted skyward by a whale, representing the support of parents and caregivers who uplift and dream alongside their children.

At the client’s request, the theme was a Western-style farm, with the main character based on her son, hugging a sheep. Following the success of the first 2 books illustrated by Jade, which are Asian Adventures A-Z and I Am An Amazing Asian Girl, Jade was invited by ByYQ to illustrate their third children’s book. This book is in the same series as I Am An Amazing Asian Girl, which focuses on celebrating inspiring Asian men across different cultures, professions, and backgrounds. Collaborating closely with the author, Jade helped shape the activity concepts for each scene and conducted in-depth research to ensure accurate and meaningful representation. The book has been widely distributed to preschools and is well-loved by children, parents, and educators alike.

This time, the focus was on celebrating inspiring Asian women across different cultures, professions, and backgrounds. Featured figures include Christine Ha, Eileen Gu, Licypriya Kangujam, and many others, offering young readers role models they can relate to and look up to. Jade was commissioned by a self-published author to illustrate The Snaggle Tooth Royalty Club children's book about the memorable stage when kids start losing their baby teeth. The story is filled with surprises and playful jokes that delight both children and adults. Jade had a great time working on this project, often giggling as she brought the three mischievous characters to life in each scene.

Jade was commissioned by a self-published author to illustrate Between the Clouds children’s book. It’s about the adventure of a divine water droplet. The story beautifully weaves in elements of Samoan culture and the Christmas story, guiding readers through scenes of the sea, sky, Samoan village, boats, desert landscapes, the human body, and a manger. Jade worked closely with the author and conducted in-depth research to accurately depict Samoan traditions, including clothing, body tattoos, and their household essentials.
