Celebrating the most important Vietnamese festival, Tet Together children’s book introduces young readers to the traditions of Tết. Jade was commissioned by a self-published author to bring the story to life through vibrant illustrations featuring iconic festival items, like flowers, traditional decorations, clothing, and scenes inspired by her own cultural heritage. The book has been warmly received, widely distributed to preschools, and cherished by children, parents, and educators in the U.S. and Canada.

Jade was commissioned by a self-published author to illustrate The Snaggle Tooth Royalty Club children's book about the memorable stage when kids start losing their baby teeth. The story is filled with surprises and playful jokes that delight both children and adults. Jade had a great time working on this project, often giggling as she brought the three mischievous characters to life in each scene.

Jade was commissioned by a self-published author to illustrate Between the Clouds children’s book. It’s about the adventure of a divine water droplet. The story beautifully weaves in elements of Samoan culture and the Christmas story, guiding readers through scenes of the sea, sky, Samoan village, boats, desert landscapes, the human body, and a manger. Jade worked closely with the author and conducted in-depth research to accurately depict Samoan traditions, including clothing, body tattoos, and their household essentials.

Jade was commissioned by a self-published author to illustrate Asian Adventures A-Z children’s book about the Asia travel theme. She worked closely with the client and conducted in-depth research to accurately portray landscapes, food, culture, and transportation across Asia. The illustrations use a vibrant, colorful palette and simplified forms to capture children’s attention and spark their curiosity about the world.

Jade was commissioned by a self-published author for a personal project - a heartfelt children’s book with an LGBTQ+ theme - originally intended as a Christmas gift for family and friends. However, after it was shared with the community and gained unexpected attention, the book was expanded and additional copies were printed for sale.

Completed in 2020, this character design of a lion named Leo was Jade's first commission, and a project that remains very special to her.
